This tune is perfect for a messaging service's alert sound. It's been my ringtone for texts, e-mails and WhatsApp messages for quite a while now. Still makes me happy every time I hear it. Yay, treasure... erhm... spam!
Thanks for replying. :)
Of course I understand that some people like it and some don't. I've heard these songs come by quite a few times, boring me every time. So that perspective is very unlikely to change, seeing as I've given it second, third, fourth, and probably even a tenth chance. As no one had posted any comments yet I felt someone should, so I did.
Regarding your remark about the ocarina songs; for one part I would not. The songs always start with a single ocarina, which is the only part I dislike. But after the tune has been played once, more instruments start playing. At this point I very much enjoy the ocarina songs. So personally I wouldn't call the first part of those tunes actual music, only when you've finished clicking the buttons on the controller and Link takes over. But hey, that's what comments are for, aren't they? To share opinionated text. It's a fact that this is music. It's just not what I would call music.
Now you've got me wondering, though. You've responded to my opinion to try and show another perspective. However, you haven't given your opinion about this particular album. So, what do you think about these songs?
There's little music I dislike on Radio Hyrule but this album is one of 'em. To be honest, with the right software and MIDI files, one could create this album within an hour. I think the songs lack a lot of depth. One instrument playing a single simple tune looping a few times is not what I call music.
Good question. Apparently no one wants to answer it so I'll give it a shot. Obviously, I think it has been made on a computer. Seems like a sampler using at least various strings (maybe violin, viola and cello) and a harpsichord to me. I'm guessing you wanted to know about the harpsichord.
You're absolutely right, MIKEJCSAUER! The Zelda games put music to perfect use, which is probably why a lot of Zelda games are old and dusty by now but we're still enjoying their music right here and now.
This song is so awesome I set it as the 'beep' on my alarm. Sadly I also associate the two now. Every time it comes up I keep thinking: "I don't want to get out of bed!" I'm not going to change it though. The dawn melody at the beginning makes it perfect for waking up.
Sorry for being unclear. I meant the ZREO website and I'm still unable to find it under the Music and Listen sections. Could you post a link? I'd really like to download the song, but Radio Hyrule doesn't have a download function as far as I know.
Absolute zero hasn't been reached, but it has been surpassed in 2013. Scientists did that by going beyond an infinite positive temperature (simplified) which turned out to be negative. So maybe the correct phrase is: "This song is beyond infinite." ;)
I really hate dance, mostly because a lot of artists keep it simple on purpose in order to sell more. You, on the other hand, are not like those artists. It's a really good dance song with an appropriate amount of variation. Keep up the good work!
Someone forgot to decode the HTML in the title of this song. VLC media player thinks it's named "Bizen - ゼルダの伝説 風のタクト - The Ocean"
Should've been "Bizen - ゼルダの伝説 風のタクト - The Ocean" (UTF-8 FTW). ;P
The Hyrule Field theme from Twilight Princess has been my favorite Zelda tune so far. If only I had noticed earlier that ZREO made an even better version!
That's not an official movie, but fan made. You can still find it online (Google FTW). Nintendo did unfortunately say that the creators may not distribute the movie after 2009 due to copyright. So technically every version you can find is illegal.

You're my guitar hero!
I agree!
Cool song, but the silence at the end is too long.
The drop is indeed awesome, although it just startled me. The volume was a bit high, hehe.
Even after over three years since your post this song is still touching. Hmm, nostalgia.
Makes me want to dance.
And your subject relates exactly to how I first responded to this song. :P
Love it!
This song makes me happy, happy. Joy, joy!
This song is so crazy, I love it!
Best musac ever!
Cool and one of a kind. The only metal 'fairy flying' theme on Radio Hyrule. =o
Wow, that was short but really awesome!
Thanks for replying. :)

You know a song is good when you still enjoy it, hearing it the second time the very same day.

If I ever own an elevator this should be played in there non-stop!
B-E-A-utiful!
Cool song for my 1000th favorite. :D Just wish it was longer.
Perfect timing. I was starting to fall asleep.
I wanted to do that too but it was already one of my favorites. That's how amazing it is!

Did we get the Master Sword already?

All these positive comments are here for a good reason. This song is beautiful!
Ahh, I needed the mirror. :P Thank you very very much! :D
A beautiful song in itself but the bit rate of this file is too low, offering poor sound quality.
I absolutely love this song! Blake, your music is magnificent!

Three versions of the Dragon Roost Island theme and I'm still lovin' it!
I feel like a superhero when listening to this. :P
Why is this awesome composition not on your website? I must listen to it on the bus!
Simply gorgeous! *flies off on a cloud*
Great song! It's been a long time since I've heard an original variation of the Gerudo Valley theme.
It feels like I'm in the milk bar. Awesome music, and I'm not even that fond of jazz!
Are the people in the background speaking Dutch or is it just me?
That is indeed a fun fact. :o
Bleep Bloop dubstep. Hahahaha! Awesome!

It definitely is a great song. Too bad Nintendo banned the film, it's pretty cool. Probably the first and last time you'll hear Link speak.
So far, in my opinion, I have yet to hear a Zelda song by Nintendo which is better than the re-orchestrated version by Zelda Reorchestrated.
She sure is. This song is beautiful!
The most soothing version of the Fairy Fountain song I've heard so far.
Wow, I just requested this song and 24 seconds later it's being played. :D
I listen to the CD almost every time when I sit in the bus going to school. It's just too magnificent.
I wish this song wasn't in my favorites so I could add it again.
I too rarely not place a song played not in my Favorites. Last time I checked it was 13 pages long. :P There's just too much awesome music on here!

It's a great song but is it me or are the vocal of rather low audio quality? I think I hear crackling sounds.
Sixteen minutes and ten seconds of pure Zelda awesomeness. What more do you want? Maybe seventeen minutes?
How can this song not be in my Favorites!?
So many songs, and yet I haven't found a single one I don't like. When will you start working for Nintendo? :P
I Second that. Didn't know that Zelda and jazz is such a good combination.
Ha! I think you're right. Wrong name or not, it's still awesome! :D
It's a short song but still incredibly awesome!
Radio Hyrule lagged because of the severe awesomeness of this song when I tried to add it to my favorites. =P
So far I've liked all ZREO songs, but this one is just too repetitive.
And #5 is the Lost Woods theme from A Link to the Past.
It's the second. ;)
It sounds like a tom-tom modified with audio filters to me.
Only 14 seconds and still a masterpiece. Amazing!
It's a beautiful song, I especially like the strings in the beginning. But now it's playing twice in a row. That's not supposed to happen.
I have to go to the bathroom, but I don't want to miss this song. It's awesome!
You chose the perfect word. :)

Cool chiptune though. :D
So soothing. :) It's incredible!

Song #2 or #3 (wasn't paying attention to the order) is the Song of Healing from Majora's Mask.
Short but cool solo near the end. :)
How can this song not be one of my Radio Hyrule favorites? It's awesome!
That combination makes it suitable for grade A movie themes. :O
I listen to it every day I set my alarm clock. :P
Forgot I was on Earth for a second there.
I recently watched the movie. That shop clerk was hilarious. :P
Wow! When this song kicked in so hard it nearly blew my eardrums. Not lowering the volume anyway. :P
I know what you mean. Listening to ZREO always brings tears of joy to my eyes. :')
Love 'em too. Too bad I stopped actively playing guitar, otherwise I'd definitely try to learn to play this. :D
Just watched the fan movie (and it was awesome), because I heard this beautiful music. :)
I love it! Reminds me of Super Smash Bros. Melee. :P
